Windows Update Issue

I'm currently having problems with Windows Updates. I can
no longer install updates to my computer. It's constantly
failing. Any Ideas
 
Steve - Having the same problem as it will not install the
critical updates - had been working fine from installation
6.16 until about 1st of August and now I have 6 critical
updates that keep failing. I too, like Steve, would like
some answers. I have a request into Microsoft but have not
had a response from a tech yet

Try this:

Rename the folder Catroot2 under C:\Windows\System32. (eg. to Catroot2
_Old)
Next, rerun the installer. The updates should now install.
The folder Catroot2 will be auto recreated.
