In yesterday's security updates there was indeed another .NET 2.0 patch.
Just a routine update. Allow it to install and all will be well. Nothing
about which you should be alarmed.

..Net Framework is not critical or essential unless you have a program that
needs it.
But one you have it installed, you should install all applicable Critical
Updates for it.
In the future you should ask such questions in the windows Update newsgroup.
The people here are smart, but their area of expertise is Windows Defender
and not always Windows Update.
