I'm running XP Pro SP3. When I open IE (I usually use SeaMonkey for
browsing) and go to the Windows Update page it says it needs to
install software. I select the Custom option but it still wants to
install Windows Genuine Advantage, which, if I recall, is not a good
thing. (I used to use WindizUpdate but that's no longer available.)
Should I let it install the WGA and then uninstall it later, or leave
it on? Or, better yet, is there another option to get the necessary
updates?
Thanks for any help.
