Windows Update in english?

I have Windows 2000 server installed english but since I
live in Sweden (i guess) Windows Update is presented in
Swedish. I would like to get the updates in english so I
don't end up with a computer with mixed languages in the
menus and such. How do I do this?

Are you using SUS (Software Update Services) to obtain your updates, or
are you just launching the Windows update internet explorer icon and
downloading your patches directly from Microsoft?

What is the link windows update is sending you to? I'm in the United
States, so here's the site it's sending me too.
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp Is probably sending
you to a non english site because Microsoft doesn't like the Swedes. Just
kidding. It's because of your IP address. They are categorized through the
world.

If you use Scan for Updates you will be offered updates which match your
operating system language - this is independent of the browser language.

If you use the catalog it is up to you to select the appropriate language.
