I don't know why, but after running windows update. My
Javascript functionality of the webbrowser stops. (Which
means that the WindowsUpdate page itself doesn't work
because it uses pure Javascript.)

I fixed this by reinstalling IE6 SP1. Now everything is
working fine. To test my theory, I redid WIndowsUpdate -
same problem! Is one of the security patches flawes?
Does Microsoft know about this?

I'm using XP Home 2002 SP 1 and haven't been able to even access
Windows Update page for a week or so now. I get the following
error after it searches for the latest Windows Update Software...
or whatever it was.

Besides having similar names, Java and JavaScript are not related. Problems
with one do not affect the other.
