Hi,
We are using SBS2000 with around 40 Windows 2000 Pro
clients.
Recently, I formatted a WinNT4.0 Laptop that never touched
our network and installed a fresh copy of Windows 2000 Pro.
The machine joined our SBS2000 network OK and our SBS2000
detected that the laptop did not have SP4, so that was
installed successfully. I then installed the Firewall
client and Outlook 2002 from the SBS - which was OK too.
Now, when I tried to do Windows Update it keeps failing.
I tried rebooting and in all I have tried around 10 times
with no joy.
Please can someone help as I am blowing my brains out.
The machine is a Toshiba Portege 7020CT, Win2k Pro SP4,
P3, 64MB RAM, 10/100LAN. The laptop's OS installation is
fine - it's just Windows Update!!!
Please help!!!
