Windows Update Disabled on IE 6

Can anyone direct me to the steps for enabling the option to run Windows
Update? It is disabled on our corporate LAN and I believe it has been done in
the group policy settings.
 
You need to your corporate internet support group. They must a good reason
to disable it probably so they can control Windows Update globally.
