Hi,
I applied a windows update to my Win2000 server which I use as a
development platform.
I didn't notice the number but it was to do with remote users being able
to take control of the machine.
It also stated that once installed it can't be uninstalled.

After the install I found that an Access 2000 database which had some
DAO in code and a calendar control would not run.
1)Attempting to assign todays date to the calendar control in code
caused Access to generate a 'send debug message to microsoft'
2) Commenting out the date assignment let the code through to where it
attempted to dimension some DAO objects, at this point it failed in a
normal manner.

I have re-installed Office 2000 Professional but it has had no effect.
Is there a solution to this short of a complete system rebuild?
Thanks
Bob

Go to Windows Update and look at the left hand pane under "Other Options" -
the first option should be "View installation history" which will give a
list of updates installed via the site or Automatic Update.
