Greetings -

Is there anyway in Win XP Pro to control a certain time frame for my son...
i.e. 8pm-10:30pm M-F and Sat: 10am-2pm, etc...
I hope that makes sense.

On another note, I have the SHARED COMPUTER UTILITY installed and am using
that, yet it only has the ability to control HOW LONG each profile can be
logged on, and not time of day usage. One loop-hole my son has discovered is
that when he is forced to logoff for the time frame of 120 minutes, he can
log right back on giving him another 120 minutes.

Thanks for the suggestions.

See www.dougknox.com, Win XP Tips, Restrict a User's Logon Hours.

Note: This tweak will not force the user to log off, but when used with the Shared Computer utility you describe, it should work pretty well.

I tested this program some time ago. I don't remember if you can set
specific time for access but it will certainly track just about everything
else. Not real expensive $39.95 US. You might try a search on google for:

internet access control

I got a bunch of hits. Also might want to look around at www.tucows.com

Wasn't looking to track INTERNET access, rather my son's LOGON/LOGOFF hours
on my PC.
My mistake. You could try a search on

control child use of computer

I found the following links. Haven't used either one
both have a free trial. The second seems to have been evaluated by
several well know sources. The third link is a site that contains
many links other programs.

Hope this is a little more along the lines of your request.
