In the folder "C:\windows\temp" a lot of files with names such as
"Acr3E8F.tmp" are created and get a great amount of disk space. I have to
delete them every time I log on.
any idea?
 
Window Internet Explorer7 stores files in C:\windows\temp??

The file name you quoted begins with the letters ACR which might mean
that it is related to an Adobe Acrobat product such as Acrobat Reader.

Got any such software installed on your machine, especially an older
version?
