Windows Task Scheduler and Access macros

Hello everyone,

I am working on a project that automates a Excel report to our
managers using Access. I have researched on here about creating a
macro, creating a shortcut to a macro, then telling windows task
scheduler to run this macro at a predetermined time. It works great if
I am logged into the computer.

What I would prefer is while I am away from my PC, whether it is after
work hours or on the weekend, is to be able to run this macro. Can the
Windows Task Scheduler do this or is there a third-party solution that
I can try?

) shows how to do it when Access is running. Part II
(http://rogersaccessblog.blogspot.com/2008/11/access-101-how-do-i-run-process.html)
uses the Windows Scheduler.

In either case, the PC has to be on.
