A AthlonXP2500 Dec 6, 2003 #3 Thanks. Usually after I copied multi-GB files from d: to c: Performance stays pegged at 100%, Processes has ccapp.exe running at 98/99%, for over 1/2 hr. By then my patience runs out, 'end task' doesn't, the PC locks and I have to reboot.
