I recently opened up Windows Task Manager and noticed that
there were no longer the tabs for Applications, Processes,
or Performance to click on. It's like the inside window
is there with a list of the applications that are running
but there is no way to choose any of the tabs because they
are not there. It't the wierdest thing. I'm wondering
how to restore the window to original functionality.
Where does the executable for task manager reside and how
do I "restore" it?

Greetings --

Are you running Task Manager in "Small Footprint Mode?" Simply
double-click anywhere along the top or side borders to return to a
normal view. Alternatively, pressing <Ctrl>+<Tab> will allow you to
cycle between the various displays, and <Alt>+<F4> will close it.
