Windows takes multiple trys to shut down

I recently started having trouble in shutting down
windows after I have been using it for a while, it takes
mulitple trys (at least two) before it will turn off.
Anyone having a similar problem or has a fix for it?

Have a look at the Startup and Shutdown Troubleshooter in the Help and
Support Center. It steps you through possible causes and solutions in a
structured manner.
