Windows - system error

When I boot-up, a window pops up saying: Windows - system error, A duplicate name exists on the network. It does not affect computer function, but what does it mean and how can I fix it from popping up all the time with startup.
 
Hi John,

Right click the My Computer icon on your Desktop/Properties/Computer
Name/Change.
