and thought i reistalled the printer( HP), installed another printer
(Lexmark), a web cam and Bluetooth dongle, none of them worked.
When printing, i get the message that the doc is printing, but nothing is
really printed.
Lexmark tells me that there's a communication problem with the printer
Redefined BIOS settings as was suggested, didn't help

Thank you for responding quickly
The printer was working just fine, when something caused my computer to stop
detecting the USB ports. The Printer is just one piece of the hardware that
my computer can no longer detect. ( it sopped detecting the webcam, the
Bluetooth dongle) A friend of mine took my printer over to his house,
installed it and it worked just fine.
My USB are on the motherboard. Got some on the rear and 2 on the front. None
is detected. ( What I mean is that no hardware connected via the USB ports,
is detected, neither automatically nor manually)

We bought a new hard disk, and reinstalled Windows on it. We'll simply
format the old hard disk hoping that will solve the problem. Still, if anyone
had the same problem and knows what the cause is and how to fix, i'll be
grateful if they should that information with me.

have a nice day
