It has always been a mystery to me on how to size windows
easily. The only way I have understood to do it is to
size the window then click the X to close the window.
The next time you open it up it will be at the size you
want. Sometimes this is a real pain, especially when
opening multiple windows from one Internet Explorer page.

Any other suggestions?

Open only one window
Change to desired size (cursor at edge <--> or corner)
File -> Exit
Open new window

Hi, Joe.

Right-click on the big E icon that starts the Shortcut that starts IE, click
Properties. On the Shortcut tab, be sure it says "Maximized" in the Run
line.

This is NOT guaranteed to work. :>( But sometimes it does. ;<)

Thanks,

That worked great....

Microsoft needs to put a line when you right click on the
top title bar of the window and that you have a selection
that says, keep current size, or maintain this size.
Sure would make it easier.

Drag window corners to screen corners. Then hold Shift while clicking on
the X. Unfortunately, this has to be done with every major folder;
subfolders seem to follow .
