Windows sidebar wont appear when i log on

Hello,

I just got a new sony vaio, which uses vista home premium. i am the
administrator and there is no other account on the computer bu
when i try to start the windows side bar all i get is a dialogue box
saying that the 'windows side bar is managed by your administrstor' but i am
the
administrator.

please help! thank you

Thank you very much Ramesh, but when i type in gpedit.msc the search does
not get any results. Also i am not on a network, it is my personal computer
and there are no other accounts on the computer apart from mine. I am using
Vista Home Premium.
 
Hi Mimi, If you're on a network, the domain admin may have disabled the Sidebar via GPO, and there is no option except to contact them for help.
