windows side bar

I have the windows vista on my personal portable ans, somehow, my sidebar
disapeared. I have tryed to reinstall it but all I get is a notice informing
that bar is administrated by the owner of the system. As I am the only person
to use it what have I to do to reinstall it? If anyone could help me I woud
be grateful. BUt pls note that I am an ignorant so if instructions are to be
given pls do not forget that you must send step by step what I have to do.

Here's how to get the sidebar back:

Start>All Programs>Accessories>Windows Sidebar
