windows shutdown ( unwanted)

it is happening more often now, here is the message I am getting:

"THE SHUTDOWN WAS INITIATED BY NT AUTHORITY/SYSTEM
The system process
'C:\WINDOWS\system32\Isass.exe'
terminated unexpectedly with status code 128.
The system will shutdown and restart."

what can be wrong
