Howdy team,

I have a serious problem.... I posted a question on the
forums here a while ago (can't seem to find them now...)
asking how I change my computer so that I am not part of
a domain any more.

Some one told me to right click on my computer and change
it under the computer name tab etc. This seemed to be the
right thing to do because it change me from being part of
a domain to a workgroup.

How ever this then stuffed up / changed my password some
how... So my administrator account and all the other
administrator accounts are off limits and I can only get
into my computer as a guest!

Now this sucks because I use my computer for work, i'm a
web application developer, and desperately need to get it
back working!

Can I wipe the passwords somehow?
Does windows xp pro revert back to some old password
after being on a domain?
HOW DO I FIX IT!!!!???

Hi,

once you remove your PC from domain you can't use domain usernames and
password any more. Now you have to use local accounts.

Administrator password is set when you install WindowsXP (but can be changed
later)... If you were the one setting up windows try to remember what you
entered as administrator password (or did you leave it blank? If you did
enter Administrator for username and nothing for password and click OK)...
If someone else set it up for you then ask this person what they set for
administrator password.

Mike
