Hey folx;

Is there any application that will helpme monitor my windows server and
services over the internet?

Thanks

Chet

Depends what's open through your firewall. You could check out
ServersAlive - it's free for a small number of servers, and can test using
telnet on any port you wish, etc....I think it's quite nice.

I am not talking about one or two services, I want an app to monitor
everything on the server like hardware, software, applogs, sys logs,...etc.
etc...

..
"Lanwench [MVP - Exchange]"

You could VPN into your server or dialup to it.

Chet...

Depending on your hardware/software, there may be different solutions. Ex.
If you're running Compaq servers, Insight Manager provides you with the
health of your hardware. A full network management system can provide you
with server application monitoring and LAN traffic, such as runs on top of
HP OpenView. Surf Control's Web Filter can monitor your Internet usage and
help you to manage your restrictions and report violations, including
controlling access to the net by users. If you want network/host base IDS
from a central console, ISS RealSecure is a possibility.
