Hello,
I have just ghosted my windows XP Proffesional installation across to
another hard drive in the same computer, as I installed Linux on my
main drive.
Now when I go to log onto my Windows installation this is what happens:
1) Enter my username and password.
2) Windows starts to log me in (message flashes "Applying your
settings")
3) Goes in briefly for 2 seconds.
4) I get the message "Saving your settings and logging you off"
This happens even if I use the Administrator account.
This happens in SAFE MODE also.
I am unable to log on via the credentials of any security account.
Initially I thought that is was a SID problem so I did a "Ghost Walk"
and regenerated a new SID but this did not work.
Can I please have some pointers to help me out in what to do here now?
Thank you,
Jainesh Jogia.
