Hello,
After installing WIN XP SP2 I had an icon for the security
center that would appear on each startup and reside in the
taskbar all the time. Now since I just installed NAV 2005,
the icon is no longer there.

When I check the security center via the control panel all
is working fine, showing that it is functioning, that it
recognizes that NAV 2005 is present and operating Ok.

Can anyone help troubleshoot this one?

Thanks,

Jim Hammond

Nothing to trouble shoot. That's the way it works. If eveything is ok, then
the icon doesn't show. If it detects a problem with firewall, av, or
auto-updates, then the icon shows up and alerts you.

Phil,
Many thanks for your helpfulness.

Jim

It is not a trouble to shoot: That icon is only supposed to show up
when there is a need to warn you that (say) AV is not guaranteed. Now
Norton is reporting as 'all present and correct' it does not need to
give a warning
