I am running Outlook 2007 on Windows Vista Ultimate. I removed the Add-In
called Windows Search Email Indexer by mistake (by going to the Trust Center,
Add-Ins, Manage Add-Ins, Remove). I would like to re-install this Add-In.
By looking at a different computer it seems this add-in is "mssphtb.dll" in
the System32 folder in the Windows folder. When I add this add-in by going
to the Trust Center, Add-Ins, Manage Add-Ins, Add nothing happens. The
dialog box showing the list of add-ins does not show the new add-in. I have
disabled account control, all firewall and virus software, and have run
Outlook as administrater (and as user), but still no luck. I have checked
the registry and the add-in was definitely not re-installed. Any
suggestions? Thanks.
