Hi,
My husband's work added a new program to our computer last
week. When he brought it back, the whole desktop seemed
to have shrunk. There is a black unused border around the
whole desktop, and every window I pull up (i.e. e-mail,
AOL windows), are smaller. How do I reset the screen to
bring everything back to its former size?
Thank you!
Jeanine

Try: Right click on the computer desktop, left click on properties, left
click on settings.

At this point note what it says under screen resolution. If it gives you
numbers higher than 800 by 600 pixels, click on the slider bar above these
figures and drag to the left until the resolution numbers decrease. Then
click on OK and everything will be larger for easier reading.

Appears that the screen resolution has been changed. If you right click on
your desktop, select Properties and then the Setting tab, you can change the
resolution back to what you want.

If you want or need to retain the current resolution, you can use the size
controls on your monitor {see monitor manual} to increase the picture size
to fill the monitor.
