Windows says my XP is not genuine but it is

All of a sudden My Windows XP says it is genuine. I have the box, the CD, the
license.
Is there any other way I can go other than the long-winded way suggested by
the non--genuine notficatuon or by buying another a copy.

I just want it fixed. I don't want to spend hours on it. can I email someone.

You mean of course, "not" genuine, right? Is KB905474 mentioned
anywhere? If so, lots of people seem to be having luck with

Donwload, run, and reboot. Seems to fit quite a few different
