Windows restarting automatically and inconveniently

I have had this for two days now that windows restarts
itself unexpectedly once in a few minutes (while working
offline only) saying that it is because of the "Remote
Procedure Call (RPC)" thus cutting my work halfway. I
have tried whatever I could, even reinstalling my OS but
without success. I will appreciate any help!!!!!

You have the blaster virus. Get on an uninfected PC and go to Symantec's
web site and download their fixblast.exe file and follow their
instructions for running it. Then go to Windows' update site and install
the critical patches.
