Windows reporting wrong ram amount.

I just setup a box with 8GB of ram. BIOS/DOS reports 8GB of ram and everything, but when I boot into windows 2000 adv server and go to system properties it only shows 4GB of ram on the system. It's been service packed and everything

Anyone got any Ideas?
 
The maximum for the version of Windows 2000 that you are
using is 4GB. Only 2000 Advanced Server and 2000
Datacenter allow more than 4GB.
