I have a question, my Win XP installation has been failing (lots of
Blue screens) so after trying varios option (last known good config,
system restore, etc) I think my only option is to a repair install of
Windows.
However I have a question, after that, will my apps continue to run or
do I have to install every application in my PC?

Thanks in advance,
Dan

A repair install basically overwrites your present XP files with the ones on
the CD....but keeps your settings and programs/shortcuts.
98% of the time it works as advertised...............the only things sure in
life are death and taxes.
Also be aware that if you have XP with SP2 installed your repair CD should
be a XP SP2 disc.........if not you will need to create a "slipstreamed"
version of XP SP2 where SP2 is incorporated into your XP and a new bootable
CD is created.
a quick Slipstream XP Google search will turn up how to do this
