In Win2k a problem recently developed where if I try to
open a folder from windows explorer, or even insert files
into an Outlook email, the program will instantly shut
down. I've upgraded to sp2,3,4 and just reloaded Win2k.
I've disabled all non essential prgrams in memory.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

When you say "the program will shut down", are you referring to the
application (Outlook, Windows Explorer, etc.), or Windows itself? Do you get
any type of error message? Do you have the problem in Safe Mode? This
information may help identify the cause of the problem.
