Still no reply to my message on Dec 5 - can no-one help??
My Prefetch folder still remains permanently empty - have
I changed a setting by mistake? Please help.

Do you have the task scheduler service Disabled? Try changing it to Manual.

PS: Automatic is the default setting. May want to give that a try too.
