Windows Picture Viewer

Hi, I have the XP Professionell Edition Build2600 with SP1 running on a 1,3GHz PIII Gericom Notebook with 512MB Ram and an ATI Radeon Mobility AGP 4x, and 30Gigs of Harddisk, my problim is that I can use the Windows integrated picture Viewer but when I switch between the Pics my System freezes without any error message or anything, the sound stops and only power off will help. What can be the Problem? The CPU cooler is cleaned (few mins ago I did it) and all the other things work fine, just yesterday it happened the same thing in Word 2003

Look around for a new video driver at the manufacturer's web site.
Might set the acceleration down to see if that helps. Right-click your desktop,
settings tab, advanced button, troubleshoot tab.
