When I select the 'Print' button in WPFV, the program pauses for an age and
then displays a preview window with thumbnails of all the JPGs and GIFs I
have ever printed (there are 800 of them) - these are obviously cached
somewhere. I have tried deleting TEMP and TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES content
through IE, but with no effect. I have also deleted any Thumbs.DB files. I
have also tried unregistering SHIMGVW.DLL and re-registering without success
as well.

How do I delete/reset this cache??

Hi Jaycee,
If you know the path of the file try download this tool and pipoint the file
path and check the box in front of it and click delete.
please becarefull when using this tool, be sure that what you are deleting
is not MS system file for your system.

windows cleanup?
The win temp files not not neccessarily found in IE temp files
or Start > Run "%temp%" without quotes, Enter for a list of win temp files
located in Temp folder

Did you clear the offline content using IE options?

Close all Internet Explorer windows
Type INETCPL.CPL in Start, Run dialog
Click the Delete Files button
Select Delete all offline content and click OK
Click OK to close the dialog
