Windows Picture and Fax Viewer

For the past month or so, my picture and fax viewer will
not work. I try to open up a picture and it just beeps.
The same thing happens when I try to view several
pictures in a slide show. I recently installed quick time
on my computer, which came with a digital camera i have.
I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not.
If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it.

Try this...
Open the Quicktime applet in control panel and choose FILE ASSOCIATIONS in
the box. UNcheck any that you do not want QT to handle.

The click START button|RUN, and type...
regsvr32 shimgvw.dll <enter>
