Windows picture and fax viewer

I receive an email message with pix attachments. By default it opens up in
picture and fax viewer. Trouble is it also iopens up any and all images I've
recently viewed in addition to the desired pix I wish to see. How do I
stop/prevent this?

You are viewing the contents of your
Temporary Internet Files folder. If you
empty the folder...you will not see the
unwanted files. (at least not until more
are downloaded)

If you copy the images to a folder on your
hard drive and view them from there...you
won't see the contents of the TIF folder.
