Is thier anything I can do maybe utility wise to boost the performance
of my windows.. I have windowsme..I love the way the computer runs in
safemode but I cant do much..Is thier anyway to get some safemode
performance in regular mode

Turning off the eye candy helps a lot. Removing icons and wallpaper from the
desktop helps. Removing most of the background applets (including spy bots)
help some too. Set your AV program to "on demand". Keep the disk de-fragged
can reduce disk reads and utilize memory more efficiently.

You need (most of) your drivers and programs in order to make your
computer run properly.
You can, consequently, never get the same output as in safe mode.

This can help those who don't feel confident enough to tweak themselves,
particularly users with W9x and Millennium.

I've seen this while surfing around the web, I've never used it but maybe
someone else has, so I can't recommend it personally but it looks to do
alot of what your asking for.
