Windows Pathways

I am having a "horrible" time finding the correct place
to put the ".ini" file for Fantastic Machines "Paint
Machine"!

It was fine in Win98, but in WinXP, I cannot find the
correct pathway.

Here is what their help says:

Paint Engine is a plug-in filter for Adobe Photoshop
compatible
plugin hosts.

Installation instructions:

Copy pe.8bf to your plug-in directory, for example
C:\PHOTOSHP\PLUGINS
Copy fmachine.ini to your windows directory, i.e.
Click to expand...
C:\WINDOWS.

But I don't "HAVE" a C:\WINDOWS.....and there are
bunches of Other Windows and so far I haven't found the
correct one.

Can someone please???? Help??? Me???

Everything else works Perfect except this one dinky
little glitch!!!

Most of the .ini files are located in c:\windows\system32.

Look for the directory that has system32.

However, you can try c:\windows also. There is nothing harm in it.
