Windows Password

Somehow I got a windows password screen when I bring up
my computer. I am using Windows 2000. Can anyone tell me
how to remove this? Also I want to use Outlook Express
for my E-mail. I am on AOL. Can anyone help me with the
Smtp for AOL?

In answer to your second question - you can't use Outlook Express to access
your AOL email.

"Outlook Express cannot be used with AOL at this time. Unfortunately, at
this time AOL is not compatible with external mail or newsgroup programs
since AOL doesn't use SMTP, POP, or NNTP protocols. This is due to the
Parental Controls, special features, benefits and security features that AOL
has through the AOL Mail/Newsgroup services."

But an article from last fall says AOL is working on a new email client:

no!!! you cannot remove that password screen ,it is part
of the windows operating system security,thou you can
avoid it just by clearing your administrator password
setting.so that way when the passwrd screen pop up
all u need to do iz press enter.BEWARN !! your pc is now
accesible to everyone who touch.
