I have XP and cannot get the org chart to come up as an
object to embed in a document; do I need xp professional
to do that or can I download the org chart software from
somewhere? It does not seem to be on my XP CD-ROM.

Thanks.

Are you talking about the feature in Word? For that, you need the
appropriate version of Word installed including the org chart module. This
isn't installed by default -- you have to go back into Office setup and add
it.

There is no Org Chart support in base Windows XP (Home or Pro). I
suspect you are talking about the Org Chart object that is part of
Office? I don't know if it is in the current version, but it is bundled
with Office 97. Sounds like you need to run the Office Install disk and
add this feature into your computer setup.

Greetings --

When you installed Microsoft Office, did you perform a custom
installation and select the Org Chart as an additional feature? It's
not installed by default during a typical Office installation.
