Hi. I've had this problem with Internet Exporer 6 for a few months and now it's happening in Windows Media Player 9! When I try to start the program, I see it in the task bar as running, but I can't see it. When I click on the program in the taskbar, I see it expand to the right, straight out of my screen. I've tried changing the screen resolution to "catch it" farther off my desktop, but it doesn't work. I tried unistalling IE a while ago and ran into lots of problems... now I'm reading that the new Media Player is nearly impossible to remove from XP. Has anyone heard of anything like this? Is there anything I can do? I miss my IE and WMP :( Thank you!

I can't believe this... but after months of looking at troubleshooting
sites and trying dozens of different things, I found the answer right here
on the microsoft website, just after posting my previous message...

Thank you for bring this to the notice of this forum. I have one short
application which with a small display window always opens to the lower Rt.
half of the screen. This in fact chops off 1/5 of itself. The first 2
methods in the MS article don't work, for there is no Maximize or Move on
the popup menu (the 3 doesn't apply in my case). Any suggestion from any
one?

Bee.

problem fix

after reading around the web for 20 min. I tried to change the resolution. I was not able to move the program window nor cascade so I went into control panal, display, settings, and put the resolution to something very low, when I did this the program window appeared. I changed the size and moved it and after 10 seconds windows reverts back to defalt settings and all is good in the world. Hope this helped
