Windows not Maximising

Hi
When I click on a link within a page
the now window opens as a minimises tab
at the bottom of the screen.

I have to right click and select Maximise to open it.

Any Idea why this is please.

The minimum size is just the Title.

Open such a link.
Don't use the maximize button.
Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
Close all other IE windows.
Close the stretched window last.
