I am trying to send an e-mail from web page- there is link with an embedded
e-mail address. When I click, I am able to write my message, but when I hit
send, using my hotmail address as the return address, I get the following
error.

"Windows no longer supports HTTP servers used by hotmail and other web based
e-mail providers" There is a link to click for other options. That takes me
to a page which suggests I update to Windows Live.

I already have updated to Windows Live Hotmail. That was a week or two ago.
My hotmail address isn't being recognized as a window's live address- my
hotmail address didn't change with the upgrade to windows live and I don't
want it to change- that would be a hassel.

What can I do to send an e-mail from this website? To convince the program
that I really do have and do use Windows Live Hotmail?

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Either use Internet Explorer or get Windows Live Mail Desktop or Windows
Live Mail, whichever it's called now. It was called "Windows Live Mail
desktop Beta" when I checked just now.
