windows net framework 3.0 sp 1

I can download but i am unable to install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0
Service Pack 1 (KB929300) I have been online and have tried the following.
uninstalled all net framework from add remove programmes
used the NET Framework clean up tool and tried to
reinstall all the NET downloads and once again (KB929300) failed to install.
any help would be appreciated

Hi nireman,
Try to run Disk Cleanup and this command from the run command:
sfc /scannow and reboot your machine then try the installation, any help?.



When you try to install an update for the .NET Framework 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0,
or 3.5, you may receive Windows Update error code "0x643" or Windows
Installer error code "1603"

Read the article referenced below and download the Installer Cleanup utility
which it mentions. Only remove the entry if present for .NET Framework 3.0,
not any other programs using the Installer Cleanup utility, restart and try
again to install the update.
