Get this message now following swap of defective motherboard...

I've got a legal copy of XP and licence key. I'm assuming its detected
a change in the system, hence this message.

How do I fix it?

Generally, you run the Activation Wizard and let it activate, phoning the
toll-free number provided if needed.

However... there is a circumstance where Windows get stuck in a loop that
will not get to that point. You'll see a dialog telling you that you must
activate, but that it can't do so, and that Windows can't proceed; and it
never gives you the final dialog to make a call. In that case, options
are pretty much limited to backing up and wiping the drive and starting
over.

Managed to get it re-activated on the phone. Thanks.
