I tried today to use the movie maker...when it goes to
save as a movie it cuts off part of the file or not save
it at all.
Also it dont reconize my cd burner. But every other
program reconizes it. Please need help here if anyone
can...ty all so much

Too many possibilities here.... if the file is large, your hard drive may
still be in FAT32 format which has a 4gb limitation file size. NTFS file
size limitation is 4gb. Look in the Help & Suport for instructions on how
to convert your FAT32 to NTFS.

As for the burner, MM1 will not burn direct to CD... MovieMaker 2
will....but only as the wmv file. If you want your file to be viewable on a
standalone DVD player, you must use third party software and burn as a VCD
or SVCD. See www.dvdrhelp.com and www.papajohn.org
