Can anyone tell me how I can split audio from video in an
imported clip in WMM? I just want the sound from the
clip, not the video.... Thanks

Drag the clip to the Audio/Music track, not the video track. Then save the
movie. If there's nothing on the video track it'll save the audio as a WMA
file.

To do this, drag the video clip into the audio editing bar. It will turn into a music file.
 
If the audio was incorportated in the file, I don't think
it's possible to seperate in MM.
