My movie maker stopped working, probably because I have removed
recently another program that I was not using and maybe remove
accidentally a file that should not be removed.
How can i download and re-install the movei maker?
==========================
You fail to mention your OS...if you are
running Vista...disregard the following.
Two thoughts...
#1) The Movie Maker you downloaded is version 2.0 and
the current version is 2.1. When you install WinXP SP2...
Movie Maker 2.1 installs along with it.

Generally, users install from the net but this
site allows you to download the complete
file to your hard drive before installing.
It's good for a network administrator because
you can burn it on a CD and install it on as
many computers as you need to.
And it's good for a single machine because
if you ever need to install it again...you'll have
it available without waiting for a download.
#2) Some users have reported problems
after installing IE7. If this applies to your
situation ...uninstalling IE7 may be worth
a try.

I've also seen a report that disabling the
ffdshow codec could be the fix. To accomplish
this...open Movie Maker and go to...Tools /
Options / Compatibility tab...Uncheck...
ffdshow / OK.
