You can download Movie Maker 2
at the following link:

MovieMaker 2.0
http://tinyurl.com/6vp4g

Movie Maker 2.1 is included with the
installation of Win XP SP2.

The path to the Movie Maker executable
should be as follows:

C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\moviemk.exe

If you have Movie Maker installed you
can launch it by going to...Start Run...
type moviemk.exe / press Enter.

I can sign into this site but cannot post a new question--or sign out! So
with your permission let me add to this conversation: Since my Movie Maker
properties do not show what version, I too went to the web site for MM2
Download which only offers SP2 which supposedly includes MM2--but I don't
want to uninstall my current WIN Home Ed XP, SP2 to have to reinstall it to
get MM2!
The problem that exists (that no one can help me with) is that when I open
MSAS, then Help, then sub menu MSAS Help--Movie Maker screen opens with msg
that MSAS is not a Moviemaker project! Hey, I know that, but how do I get rid
of the problem that MSAS Help sub Help opens it!
I open Movie Maker from my desktop MM icon.

Open Movie Maker and go to...Help / About
to find the version.
