Windows Movie Maker Problem

I just bought WindowsXP Pro, because the copy I had wasnt a valide one. My
problem was happening before I reinstalled windows. It just never went away.

What it's doing is everytime I try to make a video, and I add music to it,
and clips. Then I go to watch it, the music is always out of time. If I click
on a certain part of the movie, and try to play it, the sound is always like
10 seconds off or less. I also keep getting error messages, when I load
certain videos. It loads then a second after it loads into my collection
movie maker close's due to errors. Im not sure how to fix this. But If
someone can help me. I would be very thankful.

This seems to indicate problems with media type you are using or overly
complex project.

Some non-standard encoded MP3 files can cause this problem. Similarly if you
are using any MPG video clip or and AVI that is very compressed (using some
unusual codec) anywhere it may invoke Movie Maker into confusion. So convert
the MP3 to WAV (using Audacity) and any MPG or unusual AVI to standard DV
AVI (using VirtualDubMod). Google for the program names. These are
opensource/freeware.

Also minimize the number of effects and transitions if you can.

I will try that. Thanks for the help.
